How safe is it to use google fonts in email?

I want to use the Roboto font in e-mails, which is not safe and, accordingly, I need to connect google fonts for it to work. Newsletter mainly via mailboxes gmail, yandex, mail. I want to know if the import of google fonts will work in these three mail systems? The rest are not so critical.

I can’t tell you about whether it will be displayed correctly in all three browsers, since it’s better to test it pointwise in each separately, but I remembered this article - link there is an example of how to correctly connect custom fonts from the same Google fonts, since connecting via link won't work.
