How realistic is it to work with Australians/British people remotely from the CIS and how?
Hello.
Interested in the question of those who tried to solve a similar problem. Experience and knowledge are 100% suitable for the vacancy, but unfortunately all requests with resumes for vacancies remain unanswered. I use big sites. Almost all vacancies require that the test subject be in the right city, not to mention the country, or this requirement is simply omitted, and, apparently, the main screening takes place on it.
Therefore, the questions are:
1. Do Australians (+ GB) generally recognize freelancing or do they already have enough Chinese and Indians in the field?
2. What freelance exchanges are there where you can target Australians(+GB)?
3. What are the popular job sites where you can screen for remote work or office work?
Thank you!

odesk.com looking for Aussies/British there. Transfer money through a payoneer or moneybookers card.
You can try www.rentacoder.com (didn't try it myself)
About UK - the experience of attracting freelancers from abroad - they usually don't do that.
On the other hand, if you create a normal profile on one of the world's sites and do not constantly write "sorry for my english", you can find something.
Companies are much more willing to cooperate in order to outsource certain developments, a contract of 3-6-12 months is realistic.
Nobody usually writes "GB" :) You will not be understood :)
Freelanced for several years at scriptlance.com . I worked mainly with Americans and Europeans. There were also customers from Australia. Thrown for $ 100 only once - our compatriot. Withdrawing money via payoneer credit card without any hassle.
First, the main thing is to get positive reviews. To do this, I had to take on not very interesting tasks for a small fee. For that, then you yourself can dictate your own conditions (50% prepayment, terms, etc.).
