What to do if the client deleted all changes?

Recently, a client came to me who needed to make a number of changes on the site.
These changes included speeding up the site, displaying the slider, and so on.
The logic is, I did the job, everything was in order, but the client went to FTP and looked at the pictures there. To speed up, I used an image compression plugin, when compressed, it creates a copy of the original and compresses everything else.
When she went into the pictures, she saw this copy, said that it would create duplicates on the site and stupidly erased all the work with a backup without even consulting.
What should I actually do?
I have a copy of all the work done. I also have a solution in case of duplicates, but I have no desire to work with this client.
It accumulated that she constantly needed to explain everything, and in this she simply had to accept all the information with skepticism, until she came to all this herself and only then it turned out that I was telling the truth and the real solution to her problem.

To work, you need to use git, even deleted, a rollback is done and that's it. If there is not much money for the work and you did not take an advance payment, you simply refuse to work and let him look for another performer if you are not comfortable working with her.

The client does not trust you. Learn to build trust and explain and reason with the client what you are doing. Otherwise it is called "sell your work." Include explanations in the price list for future work in the communication costs section. And you will be happy. In the current situation, you can explain your decision after the fact. You can not explain and score on everything .. on clients, work, ... on everything you want)

What should I actually do?

Yes, do whatever you want. The question is oddly worded.
The client does not trust you and in general this is normal. Why should he trust you?
