How not to start the HDD hard drive after the computer wakes up from sleep?

I periodically put the computer into sleep mode, and upon exiting it, the hdd-hard drive spins up every time, the system is not installed on it.
Is it possible to somehow disable access to it when exiting sleep mode, and start it only if some reading starts from it?
