How much RAM can be put in Lenovo b590?

Model 20208. Now it costs 4GB, I would like to buy another 8GB bar and get 12GB. If I google this question, then all the resources I have looked at indicate that the maximum supported memory is 8GB, but AIDA shows that the maximum is 16GB. Who to believe? How can you make sure that a 12GB laptop will pull?
