I'll tell you why - before you draw something in Photoshop, you need to find out a lot of things, go through several stages, namely:
1. Analytics - what kind of company, find out how it lives, how it sells, what it sells, etc .;
2. Prototyping - at least on a napkin, but throw in the approximate structure of the future site. Ideally, an interactive prototype, if there are complex forms and signed with approval;
3. Only now we are raising the topic of flowers and other crap - we show examples, we talk a lot and for a long time about the future design, we find out what a person is guided by and how to help him in his choice;
4. We draw a concept - we no longer fly in the clouds, but draw a discussed layout (I spend no more than 7-8 hours on this);
5. We make corrections and finalize the details of the main page (20+ hours are laid down for this);
6. Draw internal (20+ hours).
