What are the most common prototyping methods at the moment? I know about Axure, but it didn't seem very popular to me. Are there any similar ones?

There are analogues. For example, balsamiq.com is one of the most famous prototyping tools. It is available for all operating systems and can be integrated with various collaboration systems including Jira, Confluence and Google Drive. There is also CogTool, Coutline.
In general, I advise you to read the article on Habré habrahabr.ru/post/70001/. Information about the main prototyping tools is presented in sufficient detail.

Axure is quite popular and in demand, but paid.
