What are the best breakpoints for responsive layouts?

We got a little sport here, which points to choose when creating adaptive layouts.
Within the framework of the budget / expediency, we decided to stop at 4 points.
There are two
1) 1600 - 1366; 1366-800; 800-320; 320 and less
2) 1920 - 1440; 1440-1024;1024-760; 760 and less
Consider, please.

It depends on the layout, if it is not standard, then watch when something "breaks" and this will be the reference point.
A good article on the topic css-live.ru/articles-css/pravilnye-kontrolnye-toch...
If a grid is used, then as a rule it is already configured for adaptive, and if you have to add your requests, see the link above

I feel like that donkey from the Shrek picture, but why not look at your content? Just look at what resolutions it starts to be poorly perceived (maybe the lines are too short - they are not readable, or vice versa - too long) and, based on this, decide at what resolutions you need to change something, or not (if everything is fine anyway), and not be tied to specific permissions of specific devices?
