Linux Mint - Mate or Cinnamon?
I decided to install Linux Mint, so I had a choice: Mate or Cinnamon. People who have experience with this OS, tell me which is better to choose? What are the pros and cons of each? Which is more convenient?

Something prevents to put both environments and compare?
Everyone has their own criteria for convenience. It is always necessary to make a choice personally, and not relying on someone else's tastes.
Mate is an analogue of XFCE (lightweight, nimble), Cinnamon is already a larger shell, more beauties, buns, and so on. I myself actively use mate, it performs all tasks with a bang and is quite well customizable.
I tried Cinnamon on Ubuntu, fps in games is 10-15 less than in Unity (4k monitor)
I use Linux for work, on a laptop (Acer Aspire 7250), Cinnamon is installed. It works quite fast, responsive to settings, however, there are a couple of nuances that I still can’t figure out. But that's another question...

Of these two Cinnamon, the only tangible minus on the netbook menu opens with a delay, on a powerful computer this is not observed.
