How is the issue with a white IP on a server with KVM solved?

The question is essentially this
. Let's assume there is a host server, it has raised (conditionally) from a dozen VMs
on each VM its own set of LAMP or NMP how is it possible to separate all the machines if there is one incoming IP? Or is it mandatory for each machine to have its own white IP?
If each VM needs a white IP, then how can you run several dockers on one, not even a VM, for example?
If the answer involves printing a multi-bukaf, please voice the technology, I'll google it myself
Thank you!
