2430 is not present, is 2410. asus u41sv. with the biggest savings (only vim) - about 9 hours

I bought it the other day, did not test it tightly. The indicator says that 2.5-3 hours (with a discrete card, depending on the mode) in IDE and Word.
The laptop itself is cool :)

wired Internet
Windows7: text editor + browser + torrents + 20-30% backlight = about 5 hours
Debian out of the box 3.5 hours.

Dell Vostro v131
Debian: IDE + Chrome + Wirth machine + monitor not at full brightness - approx. 5 o'clock.
Windows: Chrome - ok. 7 hours with muted brightness.
Until the end, I tested only under Debian on the Moscow-Peter train. Almost had enough. Illuminated keys + A mouse was connected and intermittently connected the phone for a modem connection.
