How important is mouse dpi for design and modeling?

Hello.
All mice that I have had at least 8000 dpi. Now I'm looking at the ergo option, but there are a lot of low sensor resolutions. According to 1600, 2000, at best 4000.
It is difficult to assess how much worse it is for work. Maybe someone has experience?

See not only dpi, but also what kind of sensor is used, what glory it has. 3200 is already possible to live in vector editors. The one who did not carry the block between two bindings to the third one will say that "1200 should be enough for everyone" but no. A higher resolution sensor generates less cursor jitter and does not make your hand shake from exertion after 2 hours of use. I prefer to move the mouse with 2 fingers, with a lousy sensor this is frustrating. The thing is that the resolution of the sensor does not change when the mouse speed is switched (where dpi switches from 200 to 3200 or further), only the speed scale changes, and the mouse still receives information about its movement with high accuracy.

Input devices are the comfort of the user.
This may be important to YOU (if you can tell the difference between high and low dpi on a mouse).
"Design and Modeling" is a product of the head, not the hands.

@vabka

If desired, you can even design on a ball mouse

@Drno

1000dpi seems to be enough everywhere
