How important is a high school diploma for employment in the GameDev industry?

At the moment I am 16 full years old, I can’t finish the 9th grade ...
The fact is that I don’t understand the topics for the 8th, 9th grades, I have always been interested in programming, it was clearer to me than any tangents and Pythagorean formulas.
I study terribly at school due to the fact that I am not interested in it at all, but I spend all my free time studying Unity, C #, I can say "I'm burning" with programming.
Of course I will try, but what if I don't even graduate from the 9th, but after a few years of "sweaty" studying of programming I reach a high level, I will be hired in GameDev without a certificate?
