Is it better to make one big page with my keys for 5000 characters, or five pages of a thousand?

Make two high-quality articles for 2.5 k. PS so they will be better perceived than 1k each.

Do not adhere to strict limits in terms of the number of characters. Search engines easily figure it out and lower the rating. Let one article be 3K characters, the other 0.5K, the third one is 5K in general (not a tinkerer, of course). The main thing is how users will behave on these pages, whether they will read, comment, send somewhere, etc.
