How does Youtube encode audio/video?
Hello. I decided to test the quality of audio encoding on TyTrube, uploaded a video in 4K format with 24-bit uncompressed audio. The output produced audio streams AAC 256, 192, 128, 48 kbps - I thought that was all.
But then I looked at other videos, from other channels - and there are still streams in OGG and high-resolution WebM videos. Here is an example of the first video I came across and my 4K video :
Why is there such a difference? Why is my video not encoded in WebM HD, etc.?
