How does UX/UI work on a 13" MacBook Air?
Guys, I want to take myself a 13-inch MacBook Air M1.
I am a UX/UI developer working in Figma.
Now I have a 24-inch monitor, which is enough for me.
But now I have to find some kind of device to work remotely, I really want a MacBook, 16 inches is still expensive, and 13 inches, I'm afraid it won't be enough (
Who works on a similar screen, tell me if it's convenient?

any laptop display will be more inconvenient than a full-fledged desktop. if you are used to your 24", then you will be equally uncomfortable with either 13", or 16", so overpaying for 16", if you don’t need anything else from it except for the display, it makes no sense.
Just my case)
At home, Air is connected to a monitor, an armchair, a large table and all the conditions for work, but sometimes you have to work from a laptop (on the road, in the country). Therefore, there is something to compare with.
1. There are no complaints on the way to the laptop. Large and comfortable touchpad, light laptop, good battery life. Those. it is mobility and maximum productivity that can be squeezed out of such conditions. But it's 2-4 hours, it's important.
2. In the country - this is inconvenient. Sit crochet at the table all day, looking down. Separate keyboard and mouse don't really help. With a special stand for a laptop, it's already better, but far from the eyes, for this screen size. By the end, you involuntarily move to the sofa and exhale.
3. At home, the laptop is connected to the monitor, charging from it. Of the minuses - there is no sense from the camera and microphone of the laptop if it is closed. I liked the iMac more in this regard.
Further, Alexander correctly noted that it depends on the tasks. If you are working on mobile applications, then everything will be in front of your eyes, and if on the web, then even the layout will not fit completely, you will have to constantly change the scale.
I don’t dissuade: a laptop, if we are talking about Air on M1, is excellent, but for constant work 5/2 without a monitor, I would not recommend it, iMac is better for almost the same money or MacMini and a monitor (and a camera and a microphone for it , if needed).
