How does the restoration of copies of Duplicati work on a new machine?

For example, copies were made by the Duplicati program to an external drive, on the machine that the program was running, the HDD died.
I installed Duplicati on new hardware, connected an external drive, and what's next?
Since the program cannot simply specify the path where the copies are located, enter the password and click restore, it needs exactly the configurations from the old machine.
I am completely satisfied with this software, but here's how the recovery happens, provided that the home PC died with it, except for the necessary copies.

1. Launch the Duplicati Settings Wizard from the context menu of the program in the system tray
   
2. Choose the location of the copies and from which to restore
   
3. Choose where to restore.
