How does the CI module (CI+ CAM module) work?

During the repair, I brought out an antenna socket for each TV, the cable comes from a common shield.
Naturally, only standard channels are broadcast from a common antenna, but I would like to have educational ones, but they are all cable ones :)
So the question is, how best to do this? Tricolor TV? Provider with cable? (AKADO, Onlime)
Modern TV with SmartTV, DVB-S, etc.
Basic requirements:

  1. I don’t want to hammer and lay new cables, including from an external antenna / dish.
  2. I want to control my TV with a single remote

I am looking for information on the Internet on these smart cards (CI-module (CAM-module CI +), but I can’t find anything other than “insert the card, turn on the TV and everything is OK”.
Who uses this? Explain how it works? Where does the signal come from?

This crap stupidly decrypts encrypted channels. The signal is taken from the antenna cable. The cable is connected to the provider.
You don't start from the wrong end. To get started, find out what providers are in your home, and ask them all your questions.
