How does forwarding occur when splitting 40G QSFP to 10G SFP?

Colleagues, tell me about the question below.
There is a diagram:
Port 40G QSFP --->MTP_Cable--->Cassette_splitter_4x10G--->Further 4x10G links go to SFP 10G ports of various devices
Please tell me, on what basis does forwarding occur in this case?
How are SRC_MAC addresses selected / assigned to 10G interfaces if the packet comes from the side of the split QSFP 40G?

Well, somewhere in the depths of my soul 40G is Etherchannel 4x10G
Therefore, when installing a splitter cable for 4 to 10G, this etherchannel is simply broken and work goes on with 4 separate ports.
