How does clarity depend on height?

Such a problem, fsh can save a photo with a width of 1280 and a height of either 853 or 854.
Moreover, some photos are clear with a height of 853, and others with 854.
What is the reason?
All photos were taken with the same camera.

This is due to rounding errors when resampling the image. Depends on the applied resampling algorithm.
