How do you upload products and prices to the site? From 1C or from a CSV type import file? How do you synchronize with 1C?

How do you upload products and prices to the site? From 1C or from a CSV type import file
At the moment I do not have synchronization of the site and 1C. I upload data and prices to the site and in 1C from a CSV file.
In 1C, they are filled in from a CSV file: article, name, price and that's it.
And the goods of various characteristics have 30 pieces. Moreover, titles, etc. Shorter columns under 50. I think all the columns, pictures, instructions, etc. uploading to 1C is nonsense.
Other characteristics, pictures, instructions, etc. I upload (update) to the site from a CSV file as needed.
Q:
Is this normal practice? Or do I have a collective farm scheme and do I need to fully synchronize everything with 1C?

In tsms where there is a commerce, there are usually connectors to 1s, to popular frameworks there are also modules for import.
It is reasonable to use some kind of ready-made solution for synchronization, I think there are quite a few of them.

I did it
because the names in 1s are nonsense and they are unreadable and inconvenient for the site, we only synchronize prices.
Synchronization by 1s codes, i.e. on the site we add the code field for the product.
If the product is new, i.e. is not on the site, then we put it as inactive, we take the name from 1s in order to understand what it is during moderation.

Through the Exchange module with a website in 1C . The module specifies the URI of the site that is ready to receive the XML file from 1C, as well as the upload time and frequency. On the site side, a module is written that parses XML and updates the site database depending on the needs. The main field for comparing products for the site database and 1C is the unique article of the product.
