How do you solve the cash gap problem?

I am sure that many Tops or owners of small companies have a similar problem with the cash gap between projects, especially if the company with its team is forced to bear monthly costs, and not from project to project. Possible solutions are also known, including the inclusion of costs in the cost of an hour and a bank guarantee for such a period and shifting these risks to future clients, that is, taking money from a future client even before work begins, and so on in descending order of popularity.
I wonder how you solve these issues in your IT companies.

1. Flexible team (semi-freelance). There is a project - they gathered, washed down, fled.
2. *Permanently* working salesman, providing continuous orders. Usually, detailed processes help a lot: order acceptance, evaluation, proposal development, contract signing, etc., i.e. "set it and forget it".
3. Well, credit, of course :)
