How do you save the reader from the cold?

While I'm walking to the bus for 20 minutes, at temperatures below -20 ..-25 degrees, the reader (nook) freezes. And when I turn it on already in the bus, it says that the battery is low. After the reader warms up at room temperature, charging is shown at a normal level.
Standard covers are not designed to solve this problem.

What do you do in this case?

I put my Kindle in the inner pocket of my jacket: they don’t steal it (in cold weather they steal very actively on the street, because it’s very easy to slip your hand into, say, a backpack without noticing), and it warms up against the body.

I have a tablet instead of a reader, I bought a leather case for it, and there are no such problems

I carry my acer a501 to www.onlinetrade.ru/catalogue/noutbuki_kompyuteri_plansheti_periferiya-c243/sumki_dlya_noutbukov-c56/riva/sumka_riva_8122_black_12-66830.html (Riva 8122 is a bag with a laptop compartment). There is some kind of material, so as not to beat, not to wrinkle, etc. It also retains heat quite well.

The author, apparently, did not find the times of popularity of floppy disks :)
And if on the topic ... I have a similar problem with the phone and with the player. I thought about this topic for a long time and came to the conclusion that, apart from the good old wearing under a jacket, there are no good options.
In this case, there are simply no other sources of heat other than the human body. A heat-insulating cover will only delay the problem a little, because the device almost does not emit heat, and the cover is not a thermos.

When I take my Kindle with me - in the inner pocket, as already mentioned, so that it is closer to the body. Well, then, when the car is already warmed up, you can take it out and put it on the next seat.
In general, with this wearing, IMHO, you need a cover, preferably a hard one, not a rag, since the screen can be easily scratched if it is not protected by anything.

I carefully wrap it in a scarf and put it in my bag :)

Pocket 360 in the inner pocket, does not freeze at all. Wrap in something warm, covers, etc. there is no point, because it does not produce heat and there is no particular point in keeping it, except that it will not be on the street for long. But it's better to keep close to the body :-D

Maybe you should read on the bus, and not on the go?
Listen to music or audiobooks on the go.
