How do you rate the quality of your product?

Please describe what methods you use to evaluate how ready your product is to be shown to people?
For example:

  • The product is ready for Beta testing - this is more than 30% test coverage.
  • The product is ready for RC - this is when more than 70% of the tests go.

The product is ready for beta testing when all the features planned for beta are done and all unit tests pass (30% coverage is somehow weak).

RC is when all the features for the release are already there, and testing has not yet been completed
. Beta is when the basic functionality has been tested, but minor features are not yet ready or have not been fissified.
And you need to submit it for beta testing as early as possible, because feedback from users is an invaluable thing.

It's elementary - I take one of my friends, I put down the computer, show my product and let him do whatever he wants. The next step is to monitor the reaction. If in a few minutes he finds errors or he doesn’t like something, then this is only an alpha version. If everything goes smoothly, then this is beta.
If we already have a beta version, then I take a friend who already understands this technology. And I repeat the same thing, only here it's either beta or RC.

The only correct tactic for evaluating your product is to use it yourself. Daily. Then you or your team will know for sure if the product is ready for the market.
