Can such a project attract attention?
Good afternoon!
For some time, a similar project was successfully used in LAN.
I decided to bring it to the Internet, adding features, improving, etc.
A working prototype is here .
Question:
In your opinion, is it worth developing it, bringing it to the level of a startup, etc. Or is it better not to waste time?
This is not an attempt to promote, but an attempt to understand how strangers, not office employees who are initially loyal, but simply ordinary users, can perceive such a product.
In short: forwarding messages and files with a guarantee of deletion, closed groups ...

I looked at the prototype and seemed to be back in the 90s =)))

I had friends who a couple of years ago ordered a similar idea (a bump and dropbox hybrid), spent about fifty dollars on prototype development and thirty dollars on marketing. Thousand euro. We scored ~100k installs of mobile applications, the TOP of the Russian app store in the category for a week - as soon as the ads were removed, everything died, the core of the service was not formed.
My opinion is that you should have a VERY cool design, VERY cool usability and (suddenly) a NEW idea (albeit a little pointless like the Yo service)
Ideas of anonymous messages, disappearing correspondence, services performing some elementary function are now fashionable.
I did not understand how your service differs from the same Telegram for example.
Your service now looks like the work of an undergraduate student. This is very repulsive. Screw bootstrap or something. Although I still do not believe in development within the framework of this concept.
PS Especially I was touched by dev2sms.com/money.php )
You obviously can't imagine the process of attracting investments)
in my opinion, when releasing such a project, good PR is needed against the background of existing services
, the project is undoubtedly interesting, but there are already many similar ones with better implementation
Undoubtedly. This is a great option for a startup. You can try to poke around in the FRII.
I think no. Because there are many such (similar) projects (cloud storage, file hosting, P2P exchangers) and better than this one (1 - design, 2 - ease of use, ...).
Dear colleagues! Thank you very much for the criticism and suggestions. There is no talk about attracting investors yet, it is necessary to understand whether the idea is viable.
And whether investors will be needed is also unclear, most likely not.
In general, the difference from many similar services is that the message being deleted from the sender is also deleted from the recipient. And vice versa.
