How do I set up Plex Media Server so that my LG TV can continue from where the video stopped?

I installed Plex Media Server on the assembled server for my home media library, Ubuntu 14.04 OS.
Everything would be fine, but only the ability in SmartShare to play video from the moment it stopped, if you haven’t finished watching a movie, for example, is gone, and the last played files via DLNA are not displayed at all.
Before that, there was a mediatomb, no matter how bad it was, but it works somehow every other time, well, that's another story.
So, perhaps something needs to be corrected in the Plex settings in order for this functionality to work? It’s really not enough, since I can watch one film for five days))) And it’s not very convenient to wind it all the time. I tried to google, I didn’t really find anything, or rather, there’s nothing on this topic. Maybe someone faced this problem?
