When playing DLNA video on Chromecast with VLC player, is video traffic proxied through VLC, or goes directly to Chromecast?

If you run VLC on Android, select a video from a DLNA (UPnP) network source, and then click on the Chromecast icon (in the player itself) and start broadcasting to Chromecast, then the video stream will go
a) directly from the DLNA server to Chromecast (which is ideologically correct; so for example done in Youtube)
b) or video traffic first goes to Android, and then to Chromecast (for example, VLC developers could not implement a more correct scheme "a")

Option B You yourself launched the video in the player on the android, and transferred the copy to an external monitor. And it's ideologically true, that's the way it should be
