How do I enable text replacement at the browser (IE) or operating system (Windows Server 2003) level?
The question is next.
Text replacement must be enabled at the browser (IE) or operating system (Windows Server 2003) level.
Those. the event that occurs when the insert key is pressed, but on an ongoing basis.
A few explanations: from the terminal (on which WinCE is installed), the user accesses Windows Server 2003 via rdp, the browser with the application is automatically launched in the session. Data is entered into the input fields of the web application using a scanner. If the data is entered incorrectly, the incorrectly entered data will not be overwritten. Therefore, the user must first place the cursor at the end of the field and hold backspace before rescanning. These manipulations are annoying, and most importantly, they waste time that can be spent on more important tasks.
I would like to simply place the cursor at the beginning of the desired field, scan again, while the old data is overwritten, new ones are entered, with a minimum of human actions.
How much Google, everything is only about this option in MS Office, which is useless for me.
If I connect to the session from a computer, I press insert - everything is fine. But I would like to register this for all users, by default and at the level of the operating system or browser, so that when connecting via RDP, this option is automatically enabled for the user. What steps/methods can you suggest in this direction?
