How do I connect an Apple Thunderbolt Display to a TV using a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable?

When directly connected "Macbook → Thunderbolt-HDMI cable → TV" - the image is displayed.
When connecting “Macbook → Thunderbolt Display → Thunderbolt-HDMI cable → TV” - there is an image only on the Thunderbolt Display, but it hangs on the TV - there is no signal ...

Only via the "Thunderbolt Hub" (a device that will turn 1 Thunderbolt connector on a MacBook into N connectors) or if there are 2 Thunderbolt ports on a MacBoook
