How do I connect a Samsung SCX-4300 MFP to a MacBook running macOS 11 Big Sur?
Good afternoon.
There is an old Samsung SCX-4300 MFP, which serves faithfully and does not create problems.
A year ago (or so) I became the owner of a macbook, on which the printer was also installed without problems through downloading drivers and manually adding.
And then the guys from Apple decided that 32x was for the weak and turned off support. This story did not affect me in any way, macOS was quietly updated, nothing has changed in my life. The printer continues to work properly.
But here we bought a macBook for my wife and I could not connect a printer to it, because something very 32-bit is included in the driver and the OS does not let it pass under any pretext.
