How to clone a system?

Hello! Comrades, please help!
There is an accountant's computer that slows down hard, especially when working with the 1s program. Victoria did not identify bad sectors, but I still decided to replace the HDD with an SSD by cloning the system, as well as adding RAM.
When migrating a system from HDD to SSD using Acronis and using the standard migration program from Samusng, the computer freezes dead at 99% of cloning. The same thing happens when you remove a backup from the HDD - the computer freezes tightly at 99% of the backup. Left the old disk. Thanks to 8GB of RAM, the computer has become a little faster, but now the accountant complains that at the end of the day the computer began to freeze just as tightly. I do not know what to do. The system cannot be reinstalled - there are a lot of accounting programs and some kind of drivers on the computer.
I ask you to give wise advice how would I successfully migrate the system?
AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.4ghz,
8Gb,
Windows 7,
Unfortunately I won't name the disk - the computer is not at hand,
New disk - Samsung 860 evo mz-76e250bw 250gb

Try to remove the disk and do this operation on another computer

Find the cause of the freeze and fix it. Please note that Odin's ass may be de-registered when changing the disc.
Try booting from live-cd on linux and clone with dd_rescue.

It looks like a story when some employee cannot be fired at all, because without him all processes will stand still and the company will die. And so, this employee began to be late, and sometimes skip work. These kinds of mistakes are quite painful to fix. But still, the right way will be in the direction of correcting the error, and not inventing a crutch.
So it 's wise to figure it outhow these accounting programs are arranged so that they can be reinstalled normally on a clean system. Now, perhaps, it will help to check that everything is fine with the hard drive, and then check the system and detect some small application in it that causes brakes. There are tools for this, ranging from a banal task manager to full-fledged system monitoring: devices, processes, file operations, etc. But the accountant must understand that if tomorrow there is a fire and the computer burns down, then it is reasonable to have a backup and the ability to restore work from it.

The amazing thing here is that the accountant's machine doesn't seem to be backed up. Try the same acronis (Live CD), but when removing the backup, specify in the options to ignore read-write errors. You can try using clonezilla to backup. You can try to connect the accountant's hard drive via usb and remove the backup from it. Trying it on another machine is also an option. If you have vmware esxi, you can try to make a P2V migration there, then take a backup from there.
