How could a thunderstorm affect a laptop?

Unpleasant situation.
During a thunderstorm, lightning struck near the house. Not only did the network card burn out on the laptop, but even now the laptop itself has become hard to slow down. It feels like I have a lot of programs running at the same time. Windows open with lags, even the mouse moves jerkily.
What else could damage such a power surge and is it possible to somehow fix it?

test all the hardware in turn, start with HDD to test with Victoria, and then all the hardware, after a thunderstorm, anything can happen.
