How can I find out the traffic consumption of specific sites in Google Chrome?
The essence of the problem is that according to statistics in Windows 10, the Chrome browser often (so far only seen in 4 of the last 6 months) consumes 9-10 GB of traffic per month on two computers on the same network. This is important because they access the Internet via a 3G / 4G modem, and the traffic from the package is often not enough. Before buying a larger package, I would like to make sure that this is really the only solution to the problem, because with our operators there is no way back and it will not work to roll back to the old tariff.
10 GB seems like a lot, because judging by the history of the browser on the computer, 2-5 pages are opened on weekdays, without video and other heavy content - Internet banking, weather and occasionally news. I blocked Incognito mode on computers, clearing history and made the main account non-administrative, so in theory the browser history should match reality. Unless chrome updates are disabled by the "Limited connection" setting of Windows, but they are unlikely to gain 10 GB per month.
So I would like to study whether the sites really spend so much traffic. Maybe there is a plugin for chrome with similar functionality, or some other way to measure it?

the browser, especially with a slightly reasonable gasket between the monitor and the chair, is littered with shit in terrible quantities.
each site is trying to shove an additional amount of advertising into the user in order to earn a pretty penny.
I advise you to periodically delete the profile folder (best of all users) Google Chrome.
minus - passwords and turnouts will be overwritten, but it is recoverable.
