"Naked" Chrome is perhaps not yet possible.
I chose this solution for myself: I use the Downloaders + IDM (Internet Downlod Manager) extension in which you can customize which types of files where to put them.

For security reasons, Chrome only allows extensions to download files to folders that are already in the default save folder. Thus, for example, Downloads Router allows you to sort downloads only within the same folder. If you get confused, then you can, in principle, create symbolic links and bypass the above restriction
