How can an admin become a developer?

Hello. I live in St. Petersburg. He devoted a lot of time to network administration, somewhat less to system administration. There are gaps here and there, but in general I would like to get into the development team (Python, Perl, Java) in order to learn and do this in the future. I am slowly eliminating illiteracy in the field of Perl and Python languages, and I have written a number of working scripts in these languages. I also know the Linux command line, respectively.
Maybe someone can enlighten me, what are the ways for such an internship, what salary can I expect today and what is better to know for such employment?

The usual way. Google jobs, go to interviews.
You are looking for ready-made answers on the toaster - dozens of similar questions have already been asked and answered. Why produce the same thing every week?
Perl now has a minimum of vacancies, it is a universal language, more often used by system administrators for automation, and product development on it is carried out only in legacy, where there are few vacancies.
In python, they also mainly develop automation of something, and not whole products.
Therefore, python and pearl are more like devops, python is also testers and automators.
How can you write a client-server application in java, you can try to read the requirements for vacancies - there you will evaluate the skills during the interview.

Perl? Is this something that grandfathers used to write on? I don't think it's worth studying. Python - probably will always be. But there are not many orders, as in principle, and people who take on projects on it. So it might be good. Well, or learn php in parallel, probably easier than java. There will already be a lot of competition and orders in the shaft.
Come here and search for the Python tag
. You can search freelance orders and start doing something. Start from $8-10 per hour and raise as the number of customers increases.

Perl, alas, is dead...
And Python is either a DevOps Engineer or Django is a developer, well then you need to pull up JS to plunge into the web

learning java.
You enter one of the St. Petersburg schools T-Systems , Epam or others;
When you graduate, you get an internship.
When you finish, you get hired.
