help me choose a NAS

Good evening!

There was a need for a NAS.

Available: 2 IDE screws and 2 SATA. It is necessary to push them into the future NAS.
From the requirements for NAS: no screws included in the package, at least 2 SATA and IDE. the more SATA, the better. USB and 1PCI I think are everywhere.

If there is something ready - throw links.
If self-collection - no big deal. Share links to mothers and worthy cases.

And, the budget should be minimal.

I doubt the existence of boxes that support both PATA and SATA. Although I can’t say that I studied this market a lot, so I could be wrong. But it's doubtful for some reason :)

If the budget is minimal, then it is easier to collect it yourself.
2 IDE and 2 + sata screws is no longer a mini-itx mother, so you need to look for an mATX or ATX mother. If you need built-in graphics, then you can look for something like this . Further - it's simpler, memory chip, percent, cooler, bp. If the noise is critical, then we select an energy-efficient CPU and a super cooler without a fan + a quieter power supply, the system can be installed on a cf card + sata-> cf adapter, and hard drives can be set to turn off after n number of times if they are not accessed . Well, the most interesting case, I personally like chieftecs, something like: there are a lot of OS for this business, which one you like better and install.

There is also an hp microserver, you can buy a new one for 7-8k, but the use of ide disks is not provided there.

I would prefer to assemble on a mini-ITX with a PCI controller for one or another type of screws in a Lian Li-type case, the screws themselves should be spaced inside the case, perhaps even taken out to the outer compartments.

I had a self-collection, I gave it to a friend, for money.
It seems like he began to collect again, then spat, bought himself a Qnap 239 Pro II, on the Atom
It does not make noise, does not hiss, no need to mess around, turned it on, slightly podshamanil (namely in the settings) and go.
I am very satisfied, although self-collection would have been 2 times cheaper.
