HDMI monitor connection, connects to everything but my monitor
Actually, a strange situation arose: some time ago, the Benq GW2550 monitor stopped connecting via HDMI to a laptop, and not only to mine, I checked it on two more (different manufacturers). At the same time, the monitor connects to Apple TV and MacBooks with a bang. Just like a laptop connects to other monitors. At home, too, Benq but a different model, there are no connection problems. I also checked on the LCD panel and Dell monitors.
Why such selectivity of the system? I tried to connect on the following operating systems: Windows 7 and 8 RTM, ubuntu. The result is the same in all cases - the monitor is not detected. I also checked the cable - everything is ok.
Has anyone encountered similar behavior?
At the moment I'm sitting through D-Sub.

If there are several monitors, the picture will go first to D-Sub, then DVI, and only then HDMI (although it all depends on the video card)
