HDD drive via USB3 for video surveillance 7 streams 24/7 is possible?

Hello.
It is required to write 7 video streams simultaneously.
Is it possible to work like this with an HDD connected via USB3 in 24/7 mode?
If not, what are the downsides?

I am considering the following HDD options:
1) 3.5 SATA HDD drive connected via a separately purchased SATA to USB3 adapter
2) USB3 HDD drive (but inside the manufacturer puts 3.5 SATA HDD with its adapter to USB)
3) USB3 HDD drive, where the manufacturer soldered the USB3 controller .

I highly do not recommend.
1. USB write speed in multi-threaded mode can be unpredictable, and you will not find normal tests of USB controllers.
2. USB write speed can jump unpredictably from system boot. As is the response time.
3. With a very high probability, you will get a periodic "dump" of disks, for a number of reasons.
4. With a very high probability, you will overheat the controller and possibly the disk.
In general, USB is not very stable, especially with a noticeable load.

stop
- old recordings will be lost
Industrial solutions use disk arrays with spare disks - if one disk fails, a spare one is picked up, while recording to the array does not stop. If necessary, historical data is additionally archived to another array.

Yes, it's allowed.
Any device is capable of working 24/7/365 under maximum load, it is designed for this, unless otherwise indicated in the instructions. I've never seen any requirements for HDD continuous operation time or load.
