HDD died, how to get information?

There is a 500 GB HDD from WD, bought not so long ago - a maximum of 3 months ago. A month ago, strange symptoms appeared - one time after the reboot, the computer refused to see the tin, the wires were twitching on the mat. board/hard disk had a positive effect and the computer found the disk. Now the computer either sees the hard drive but freezes at the stage of its definition, or does not see it at all.
I got a hard drive from Hitachi from another computer - it sees it perfectly, it boots without problems ... all kinds of combinations of options settings with sata and pata and enhanced with compatible mods did not give the desired effect in the form of loading from hitachi in order to pull data from WD. SMART also turned off in the hope that it was freezing ... If both drives are connected, the following often happens: (approximately)
SATA1: IDE Hard Disk
SATA2: IDE HArd Disk
SATA1:
HITACHI *************** 80Gb
SATA2:
* nothing is written further - the system seems to hang *

Is there any possibility (except for a pocket with usb ) at home to connect a dead disk, or just a variant of an office specializing in data recovery from disks?

UPD #2 And once again, the day is saved thanks to the powerpuff girls Linux, in this case Ylmf-assembly, he was able to see both data sections in a heap of iron, which are already leaning on external hard drives =) surprisingly, but his Windows is the same does not see ... mysticism: /
Thank you all for the advice =)

UPD #1
stuck in another car just now. the first run did not give anything at all - only the bios thought for a long time, the second time the bios gave the following:

Auto-detecting 3rd Master..IDE Hard Disk
Auto-detecting 4th Master..IDE Hard Disk
4th Master: Hitachi HD*** P210A70A, UDMA Mode-5…
Third Master Hard Disk Error, press f1 to resume

But, again, when loading into Windows, the effect is zero… I’ll try Linux now, maybe it will see more…
When the system starts, both disks “buzz” and give signs of life, five hundred publishes sounds, like the disk is accelerating in a sitirome and an attempt is made to read it, but as a result of damage to the disk, the reading does not occur ... after a couple of such “races”, the disk does not show any signs of life - as if power is simply not being supplied to it ...

Have you tried changing the lines? I had a similar situation. Then even the bios behaved strangely. Two wires are shorted in the loop. Replacing the cable helped.

Look at what has fallen. If the SMART indicators have been normal lately, then it is likely that the controller on the screw has died. If the arms are straight enough and there is where to get a replacement, you can try to replace. But it's almost like a finger in the sky. It is undeniable that it would be better if they examined him in the service center and said what was wrong, and then make a decision.

The first thing I would do:
- check the cables, as mentioned above.
— would stick a hard into another wheelbarrow.
If it is still not detected during loading, then a direct road to specialists (for example, in s / c), if you have them in your city.
PS if the hard is determined to be cold, then, indeed, it makes sense to wrap it with paper, put it in a plastic bag and cool it a little in the refrigerator. More recently, in this way, I took data from an old half-dead Maxtor 40Gb.
Don't worry, it will be a good lesson anyway.

Try the diagnostic utility from the HDD manufacturer (WD). If you manage to boot the computer, but the program does not see the HDD, then there is a great chance that only the pros will save the data. In general, it remains only to try other programs for diagnosing / restoring data, and another computer (insert an HDD into it and try it).
As an experience of necromancy, you can try the freezer method (revive a corpse of a disc for a short time by cooling it in the freezer for a while. Look for instructions on the Internet). It may turn out to save something, although all 500GB is only with great luck and diligence

1. Try other cables, incl. nutrition.
2. Try to connect on another computer.
3. Anything else.
