Has anyone come across an online project for testing developers when applying for a job?
Hello,
Has anyone seen such a project that would allow organizing testing of developers / administrators / layout designers and any other candidates whose work can be checked automatically?
the point is not to fill out answers to strange questions from tests like "what is the difference between data type X and data type Y", but that it is possible to formulate a task for writing code / constructing an image of a virtual machine, and the candidate could write code, send it and the system would tell him "accepted / not accepted".
for example, the assignment might be something like:
develop a function that calculates the square root of a number.
or develop an implementation of interface X that satisfies the following conditions...
thus, the employer immediately receives the code, the number of attempts that the person spent, etc.
the applicant gets the opportunity to remotely demonstrate important skills without the stress of arriving at the office and coding the code on a piece of paper or someone else's PC.
Has anyone seen such a project on the Internet?
