Upwork
@programrails, 2018-03-02 19:07:30

Has anyone been banned from Upwork for "bad bids"? And what did you do after?

The problem is described here:
https://upworkest.ru/kak-izbezhat-bana-za-plohie-b...
I'm wondering - has anyone of those present already been banned like this? If so, what did you do next, how did you solve the problem? Did you manage to get unbanned or did you just get a new Upwork account?
PS Please refrain from giving advice on how to avoid this kind of ban. For this, there are other questions on the Toaster, for example, What can I get a ban on Upwork for? or How to fight and not get banned? .

The official upwork position is not unbanned, most likely no one was unbanned, I don't know anyone who would be unbanned.
The second account is a violation of the rules with a lifetime ban

I got unbanned the other day. You need to prove to them with the work in the portfolio and / or a diploma of education that you are a professional.

I know this is an old question, but maybe someone will be interested in my experience. Banned from two months ago. Received the following email:
Wrote in support. They said that they sent a lot of proposals for work that did not suit me. Although everything fit. And in a month I spent a maximum of 30 connections, or even less. In general, they proposed to appeal the decision by asking two questions:

1. Why are you appealing our decision? Please include as many details as possible.
2. Do you have any additional education, skills or work experience that is not included on your profile? If so, please attach copies of relevant documents (diplomas, certificates, etc.) that verify that education, skill or experience.

In the first, I answered that I spend a lot of time learning new technologies. I apply only for interesting projects, I write in Cover Latter without copy-paste specifically on the case. The second said that he recently updated his profile, and they can see all my skills there.
Three hours later, the answer came:
I am writing to let you know we have reactivated your Upwork account.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your appeal. Upon further review, we have determined that we will be able to fully reinstate your account. Your account has been fully restored and you are once again able to submit proposals for jobs.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we reviewed your account. For tips on submitting top-notch proposals, please check out “Submitting a Winning Proposal on Upwork,” in our Hiring Headquarters by clicking here.
So the probability of an error during the ban is high and it is necessary to write to the support and appeal. However, I read that they can only be unbanned once. But there will be no mercy a second time.
UPD. Found an article.

register a new acc, the behavioral is not yet strongly sewn into the upwork, but be prepared for the interview
as a whole piquancy, of course, in general stupidity and, as a result, the quick identification of the second acc

First acc banned, what should I do? That's right, get a second one. Then, of course, everything will change.
