Hardy is dying?

Today, on startup (after flying lights), Windows unexpectedly started CHKDSK. I left the computer for a couple of minutes, during which time CHKDSK issued the following: Then the second stage went, where it deleted some *.tmp files. An interesting fact: the computer was already turned on for quite a long time, I decided to restart it after some source files stopped opening. Notepad++ says that the file is open in another program, notepad - access is denied. Question: hard will die soon? Run to backup everything? In general, this is a laptop, and it is still under warranty, is there any point in going to the warranty service? They will not find anything, they will say that everything is working now.

Take MHDD or Victoria and check the drive. maybe it really is damaged.
If the physical bug is not confirmed, run chkdsk c: /f /r to do a full filesystem check.
And you should always make backups...

First, look at the SMART status of the disk, for example using CrystalDiskInfo . Next, I would listen to how the disk behaves during operation: consider any deviations from the monotonous hum and rustling of the heads on the platters as a bad sign. Then drive MHDD or victoria, as advised above.
Perhaps this approach will save you some time to understand whether the disk will really end soon.

The checkdisk log looks like a file system error. Dying should be looked at by SMART, the surface can be tested by Victoria. Moreover, the DOS version is better, the windows version can blunt and give incorrect data on sectors.

I had something like this. First, there was a problem with chkdsk, then the hard drive was no longer detected.
Make the dir /s/a command on all disks, then listen carefully and follow the output of the command.
If there are strong clicks or the output “freezes” or even stops altogether and does not reach the end,
that is, it does not show how much space is occupied, how much is free, then soon (a week or two) the disk will 100% die.

Whatever the problem is, but backup must be done in any case. Your data is the most valuable thing.
And to check, I would scan for bad sectors and make sure that errors do not start to appear again.
