Combine two physical disks into two logical ones - how?

In theory, I want to combine two drives, SATA interface. Combining is necessary, because there is only one free SATA connector on the mother. One is an HDD, the other is an SSD. It is necessary that in the end there are two logical partitions, each of which is completely one of the physical disks.
I want to know if it is possible to merge disks like this? By analogy with the WD Dual Drive, which is exactly what I need

No, it won't work, if I understand correctly. Since you want to put two disks on one SATA. I suspect that you have a laptop, then throw away the CDROM and stick your SSD through the adapter instead (or put an SSD in place of the CDROM, and an SSD in the standard place). For example, an adapter for a height of 9.5mm - https://stock.ulmart.ru/goods/354243
Just make sure that the CDROM is connected via SATA, and that the physical height matches (there are 12.7mm and 9.5mm). Here, choose to taste - https://stock.ulmart.ru/catalog/adapters_hdd?sort=...
