Hard works only in raid?
Collected computer. Removed HDD from laptop. When trying to initialize, it gives an error 3rd Master Hard disk error. Hangs and does not start up in bios. When the hard drive is disabled, it enters the BIOS. Exhibited sata type ACHI and IDE. Useless. When switching the type in RAID, shifts occur. The hard drive is being initialized. I tried to write Windows to it, writes that installation on a hard one is not possible. Forced to install through the command line. Vinda got up. Rebooted computer. Set priority to HDD. Gets into the boot menu, where there is no hard drive. Windows won't start.
And now the fun begins.
If you set the priority to the flash drive and start from it, go to the Windows installation menu, pull out the flash drive, cancel the installation of Windows, then the computer goes to reboot and the HDD is initialized and Windows boots. Everything is working. Everything. No errors, nothing. And every time, to turn on the computer, I have to suffer from this nonsense. Each time you get to the installation of Windows, cancel, pull out the USB flash drive, reboot.
I'm pretty tired of this. Decided to fix it all. Download Victoria. Checked with a quiz. Bottom line:
HDD is defined as 131GB, although it is 500, when scanning, it issues AMNF TONF ABRT IDNF UNC BBK and shows that everything is in BBK defects.
What's going on here? Help. I don't know what to do with it.

Bios up to date? One of the overly laconic "Improve system stability." could just fix it.
This is a 7mm drive for thin laptops, there are no raids there.
You can also try to boot from some nix liveCD and do dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/this disk.
Find the culprit - this is either a disk, or a motherboard, or a cable.
First, replace the cable. Then try another disk with this motherboard, check this disk in another computer.
Guilty or in repair, or in the trash.
