Is it possible to configure disk failure alert in raid 1?

Hello, there are a couple of servers, they have a software raid1 on them. Is there any way to instantly notify about disk failures so that you can remove a non-working disk without disturbing the work itself on the server?

Yes, in general, Google gives a bunch of answers
. If Windows, then everything is more difficult - you need to check Google also gives several links to the system log for errors
