Google Chrome and run in ubuntu console?

The question is: is it possible to launch chrome from crontab for example? All attempts to launch it ended without success.

Yes, you need to call not chrome , but google-chrome .

$ which google-chrome
/usr/bin/google-chrome
$ google-chrome
A new window has been created in the current browser session
