From layout designer to IOS developer?

Hello! I started studying layout in the 11th grade at the age of 18. I was lucky that I have a programmer friend who has been studying php since the age of 12 and now we rarely communicate. He works in Microsoft in Prague. This friend, having learned that I was studying layout, gave me orders, and so my career as a layout designer began. From the very beginning, I began to show perfectionism and detail to the smallest detail in the code and file organization. When I was given a design and I started to typeset, there were moments where I did not like the design of any element or block. I immediately wrote to the customer and said here it’s better to do this and that. The customer agreed and as a result it looked better. This is how I like to beautify. So I started studying design and now I draw interfaces for my projects myself at FIGMA. Turnkey drawing and typesetting of 3 websites. I realized that I like design and layout more than learning JS and OBJ-C.
Несколько лет мечтаю уже самому научиться писать мобильные приложения но как-то не получилось. 5 лет назад взял книжку по OBJECTIVE C и прочитал 500 страниц и остановился так как не было практики и не понимал что к чему, тупо читал и делал задания и этим кончилось. Год назад купил книгу по Java Script опять же дошел до разработки игры "Морской Бой" и и сдался.
И так после такой мини-истории, реально ли мне все таки попробовать опять и получиться ли опять изучить сферу мобильной разработки? Может у кого такая же история была или у знакомых?
