There is FreeNAS-11.3-U4.1 without Directory Services. Samba Share is configured - files are already uploaded. If I activate Active Directory, configure the user (Full control), then when the user enters the device through the explorer, he can create / copy files, but those files that have already been dropped are not visible. If you disable AD, then both old files and newly created ones become available in Explorer. How to give access to already existing files to AD users?

The problem is solved as follows:
When adding new users, the Apply permissions recursively checkbox must be checked to update the permissions on existing files.
