Finding funding for an IT project

Hello, Habrasobshchestvo!
I have a question for you, maybe you can help, unlike Google ...
I am looking for funding for a startup, but it is difficult to attribute it exclusively to the IT field, because. it is located at the junction of two niches - Internet services and security / monitoring activities.
Unfortunately, most of the funds are focused exclusively on IT projects, and for some reason there is no faith in semi-state profile (the project fits the target areas indicated, for example, on RUSSBA), although they also sent an application.
Hence the question - will anyone suggest any fund, ours or foreign, which may be interested in such a hybrid project? Or, for example, a business angel?
The project is at the seed stage, a prototype is being developed, there is a team.
Or can one of you finance?;)

As many have said more than once, in order to attract investors for a project, it must be more than an idea - otherwise it is almost unrealistic. At the same time, you should not be too afraid that you will be deceived and left without a business - this is not often done, because everyone has their own competencies and their own business - most likely, they simply will not want to do yours instead of you.
One way to attract investmentwhich has not yet sounded here, especially convenient when working with foreign investors, are special "investment boutiques" that are intermediaries. They work according to a scheme somewhat reminiscent of a real estate agent: in case of successful attraction, they take a small percentage. In addition, they are able, if not to do it themselves, then at least explain how you need to prepare documentation, a plan, an investment memorandum and other pieces of paper in order for the investor to like it.
True, there is little point in contacting them with small amounts of investment - they will not be very interested in it. It should also be taken into account that they work more with investment funds, and not with private investors, and these relations have their own specifics. Nevertheless, I threw a link to one of them (Beford Investments), find out if they can help you.
