Fan speed not adjustable?

Hello!
There is a motherboard - ASUS M2N68-AM SE2, as well as a 4-pin fan. The problem is that the fan speed is not automatically regulated, it always spins at maximum speed. I enabled the Cool'n'Quiet and Smart Q-Fan Function options in the BIOS, but this did not help, as well as ACPI. At the same time, the same coolers on other boards plow normally. Regardless of the temperature, it always spins at maximum speed: in the BIOS, in the OS. The idle temperature is ~ 30 degrees Celsius, under load - 50, I tried to remove the fan and "warm up" the percent, but even so the rotation speed did not change. How to be?

The answer to the question. These manufacturers are very smart - they turn off everything they can from hardware control and transfer it to their "proprietary" utilities.

THE SAME or THE SAME? maybe on THIS cooler the wiring is frayed or broken or the connector is faulty, replace the cooler with a known good one, check the cooler on another mother, etc., etc. try

У меня asus
там вы должны найти что то вроде fan controll в биосе. Там и настраиваются темперетуры. По дефолту там disable и кулер работает на максималке
